From idea to concept
The hackathon consists of two intensive days where 'doing' is central. On the first day, you will refine your idea. On the second day, you will build that concept together with experts. Think, for example, of a chatbot, a data dashboard, a smart workflow to automate business processes, or a digital tool developed using AI (vibe coding). Or work on new ways to make your offerings more accessible or present your program.
Under the guidance of experts, you will explore what works, what is feasible, and where the opportunities lie. You will refine your idea step by step and receive targeted feedback along the way. This way, you will experience how easy it can be to work with AI.
The result
You will go home with a concrete result: a developed concept, new insights, and a clear idea of what your next step could be.
There is something to win! The most promising concept has the chance to be developed into a working prototype together with Innovation:Lab. The winner will receive a working prototype to test within their own organization!
But just as important: the days are also a meeting place where culture and technology come together. You will learn from experts and other cultural organizations, exchange experiences, and explore new collaborations.
For whom?
Do you work at a museum, theater, performing arts organization, heritage institution, presentation institution, or festival? And do you have a (vague) idea or issue related to AI or a digital tool? Then this hackathon is for you!
You participate with a colleague and work with other experts. You don't need to have a fully developed plan yet; an idea is enough. For example, around audience reach, accessibility, internal processes, or new forms of presentation.
There is space for a limited group of 8 to 12 organizations. If there are more registrations than spots available, DEN and Innovation:Lab will make a selection based on feasibility, impact, and relevance to the sector. Two employees from each organization can participate.
