Lunch & Learn Caribbean: Copyright in the digital domain
10 oktober 2024
Cultural organizations working online need to deal with copyright, especially when creating digital educational materials or making collections available. If you want to share someone else’s work, you need to think about copyright. Do you know which rights apply?
Join our Lunch & Learn on Friday October 11th at 12-13h AST / 18-19h CEST.
In this webinar, we will give a brief introduction to copyright, portrait rights, and other relevant laws, as well as how to handle issues related to them. We will also explore the public domain and Creative Commons, and discuss recent developments in AI and copyright.
There will be plenty of time to ask questions about copyright in the digital space and to share your own experiences working in the cultural sector.
Join us to connect with your peers and hear from experts at DEN, the knowledge institute for culture and digital transformation.
What is it and who is it for?
This online lunchtime webinar (12-13h AST / 18-19h CEST) is designed for cultural professionals from Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Saba, Sint Eustatius, and Sint Maarten, but it is also open to others who are interested.
