Het programma start om 10.30 uur (zaal open 10.00 uur) en wordt om 16.30 uur afgesloten met een borrel en een gelegenheid om de tentoonstelling Een toekomst voor het verleden te bezoeken. De voertaal van de lezingen is Engels.

Tijdens de bijeenkomst zullen negen sprekers uit binnen- en buitenland spreken over de techniek van driedimensionale visualisaties en de praktische toepassing daarvan, in het bijzonder op het gebied van city marketing en erfgoedtoerisme.

On Friday, 6 November 2009, The Allard Pierson Museum and Digital Heritage Netherlands (DEN) organise a symposium on virtual reconstruction of historical cities. At this conference, nine international specialists will talk about the technology of threedimensional visualisation and how to apply it, more particular in the domain of city marketing and heritage tourism.

The symposium takes place at the Allard Pierson Museum, Oude Turfmarkt 127, 1012 GC Amsterdam. The programme starts at 10:30 while registration is open from 10:00. At the end of the programme at 16:30, a drink will be offered in the museum restaurant and delegates have the opportunity to visit the exhibition Future of the Past in the museum. All presentations will be in English.
